  1. September 22, 2022 The migrated MESSENGER Radio Science raw data (PDS4) have been added into ODE. The RS raw data bundle is a migration of data from the original PDS3 archive with minor improvements and corrections. The migration complete at the PDS Planetary Plasma Interactions (PPI) Node.   2. September 1, 2022 Release of PDS4 Diviner Polar Cumulative Products (PCPs) data archives at the Geosciences Node are loaded into ODE. This includes the first release of the seasonal Diviner PCPs and migrated PDS4 diurnal Diviner PCPs data archived in the bundle lro_diviner_derived1.   3. I'm searching for software to convert PDS4 .xml/.img from of the Mars 2020 cameras to 16 bit/channel PNG, TIFF or other lossless formatted files. So far couldn't find any which runs on current macOS: NASAView https://pds.nasa.gov/tools/about/pds3-tools/nasa-view.shtml is not available for current macOS, the Java-based transform only writes 8 bit (https://github.com/NASA-PDS/transform/issues/15), the Python PDS4viewer https://pypi.org/project/pds4-tools/ only writes 8bit as well and my years old PDS plugin for GIMP doesn't work on recent versions. The APIs used by transform and pds4-tools are most likely supporting 16 bit already, but before spending time to write my own software around those I like to ask here if something is available.

  5. February 3, 2021 Release of PDS4 migrated Lunar Prospector data archives at the Geosciences Node are loaded into ODE.   7. May 20, 2019 Second release of MESSENGER Advanced Products derived from MASCS, GRS, and NS data by investigator Noam Izenberg are loaded into ODE. These products were created external to the MESSENGER mission.   8. The PDS Geosciences Node released the MakeLabels tool this July. The program can be used to generate PDS4 labels using a label template and one or two Excel spreadsheets. It replaces placeholders in the template with values from the spreadsheets. In fact it can be used to output any type of ASCII file.
