  1. Hello, I'm attempting to use the MESSENGER GRS PDS data viewer in order to output GRS data into csv files. The software tool is located at https://pds-geosciences.wustl.edu/missions/messenger/grs_software.htm. I downloaded the messenger_pds_viewer_v7-macosx.tgz file and tried to run it, but absolutely nothing happens. The app won't launch. I'm using Java version 8, update 251 on a macOS Mojave version 10.14.6. I read through the softinfo.txt file that is included in the downloaded derived GRS data, and it mentions that the MESSENGER PDS viewer installation requires a Mac OS with a Java 1
  2. February 19, 2020 A new Mercury SHBDR gravity model derived from MESSENGER radio science data are loaded into ODE. Please see below links for more information. https://pds-geosciences.wustl.edu/missions/messenger/rs.htm ODE Mercury Holdings - https://wufs.wustl.edu/ode/odeholdings/Mercury_holdings.html
  3. May 20, 2019 Second release of MESSENGER Advanced Products derived from MASCS, GRS, and NS data by investigator Noam Izenberg are loaded into ODE. These products were created external to the MESSENGER mission. Please see below links for more information. http://pds-geosciences.wustl.edu/missions/messenger/izenberg.htm ODE Mercury Holdings - https://wufs.wustl.edu/ode/odeholdings/Mercury_holdings.html
  4. The Mercury Space Weathering Maps bundle is released. This bundle is composed of 6 space weathering maps representing the abundance in weight percent of four different particle types, derived using the radiative transfer model with the VIRS data from the MESSENGER mission. The maps were generated by David Trang, University of Hawaii, and funded by the NASA Discovery Data Analysis Program (DDAP).
  5. June 25th, 2017 - MESSENGER Release 16 has been loaded into ODE. This release is the final release from the MESSENGER Project. It includes new derived products, revisions to some previously released products, and new tutorial documents. See ERRATA.TXT in the root directory of each archive volume for details. 6. May 31st, 2016 - MESSENGER Release 15 has been loaded into ODE. This release includes the redelivery of calibrated products created from data acquired through the end of Mercury orbital operations on 30 April 2015, the redelivery of advanced products created from data acquired through 17 March 2014, and the delivery of advanced products created from data acquired through 30 April 2015. New products for this release include additional Mercury maps and digital elevation models (DEMs). The products in this delivery reflect improved calibrations and corrections as well as the incorporation of MESS
