    ODE - A New Earth-based Venus Radar Data Set Loaded into ODE

    October 14th, 2016 - A new Earth-based Venus radar data set from Bruce Campbell loaded into ODE.

    This data set contains Earth-based, polarimetric radar image data for Venus collected from 1988 onwards, using the Arecibo Observatory 12.6-cm (2380 MHz) transmitter in Puerto Rico and receivers at either the Arecibo Observatory or the Green Bank Telescope in West Virginia. The data were provided by Bruce Campbell of the Smithsonian Institution's Center for Earth and Planetary Studies and archived by the PDS Geosciences Node.

    ODE - MEX HRSC REFDR3 and MARSIS AIS Data Have Been Loaded into ODE

    July 13th, 2016 - MEX HRSC new Version 3 map projected data (REFDR3) and MARSIS AIS data have been loaded into ODE

    - HRSC new Version 3 of map projected RDR data (REFDR3) have been loaded into ODE, with coverage through October 6, 2008.
    - New Extended Mission 5 MARSIS AIS data have been loaded into ODE, with coverage through May 24, 2015.

    Hi,
    This is a DEM product generated by Arizona State University using MDIS-NAC images in Equirectangular projection. From the label file "˜MSGR_DEM_ASU_EQ_CATLS01_CF_85_I_V01.LBL', you will find this is a 1-band data with below information.

        LINES                              = 404
        LINE_SAMPLES               = 392
        SAMPLE_TYPE                = MSB_UNSIGNED_INTEGER
        SAMPLE_BITS                 = 8
        SAMPLE_BIT_MASK        = 2#11111111#
        MISSING_CONSTANT      = 0
        BANDS                             = 1

    ENVI can read this PDS IMG data. Gdal would also read this IMG data and transform it to another format such as Geotif with gdal_translate command. Gdalinfo command helps to give you a summary of the product details. Please let me know if this helps or if you need more information. Thanks!
