The Apollo Passive Seismic Experiment Expanded Event Catalog Bundle is released at the PDS Geosciences Node. This bundle contains an integrated catalog of lunar seismic events, including event timing, amplitude, quality, location, and classification of seismic sources, gathered from multiple published works as well as new analyses. These data were compiled by Renee Weber (NASA MSFC) as part of the PDART award “Apollo Passive Seismic Experiment Expanded Event Catalog.”

The Lunar Space Weathering Maps bundle consists of three global (±60°N) maps: the nanophase iron, microphase iron, and submicrophase iron abundance maps in weight percent. We modeled the SELENE (Kaguya) Multiband Imager (MI) data with the Hapke Radiative Transfer Model to derive these abundances. The maps were generated by David Trang (University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa) and funded by the NASA Solar System Workings Program (SSW).

This bundle contains ASCII tables containing corrected, reduced, and concatenated versions of all available calibrated data from the Apollo 15 and 17 Heat Flow Experiment, along with supporting documentation and source data. These tables are based on other data in the PDS and the published literature, specifically (1) transcriptions of data sent by the original instrument team to the NSSDC and (2) data not archived by the instrument team and recovered much later from ARCSAV tapes. The data here correct several errors in (1), and furthermore place (1) and (2) into a standardized format for ease of use. This bundle was provided by Matthew Siegler (Planetary Science Institute) and Michael St. Clair and Chase Million (Million Concepts).

A new data set of Gamma-Ray Spectrometer corrected spectra from the Kaguya mission is online. This data set contains corrected and calibrated time-series spectra and ephemerides, pointing, and geometry data for the nominal and extended observation periods of JAXA's SELENE (Kaguya) mission. This data set was provided by Naoyuki Yamashita, Planetary Science Institute.

New functionality has been added to the ODE product search page to allow users to select a freehand polygon location for coverage searches. Similar freehand polygon search filtering has been added to the map search page. I wish to utilize selected portions of Clementine NIR data. I downloaded a few files from the Lunar ODE. One of the downloaded folders was 'CL_0064', which further led to lun276 and lun277 folders and many subsequent folders. The final file had a (.276) extension, which I am not able to open in ENVI. Please let me know the correct procedure to open such files in ENVI or ArcMap. I also downloaded 'clemdcmp' and 'climdisp' from https://pdsimage2.wr.usgs.gov/archive/clem1-l_e_y-a_b_u_h_l_n-2-edr-v1.0/cl_0064/software/ . However, I am not able to install either of the software. Please help!

Hi! I want to compare spectra generated from M3 with RELAB library spectra (62231, Apollo 16 landing site soil sample) using ENVI. One specific issue is, spectral library from RELAB (62231) has 451 bands, whereas M3 has 86 spectral bands. This is apparently creating a mismatch and is not allowing me to compare the two spectra. Please help!
