Guest kxv Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Hi all, Does anyone know how to extract the ground track coordinates from the .dat file and save it seperately in e.g. a .txt file? I've opened the file in NASAview and know it's column 76, 77 & 78 that contains the groundtrack. Normally I'd just use Matlab, but the .dat file is too large for Matlab to handle. I've tried to load & save the columns using e.g. readcol and ddread in IDL but for some reason I do not get the desired output. Does anyone know of another IDL function that can achieve this?
Susie Slavney Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Please try the IDL procedures provided by the SHARAD team, under Tools near the bottom of this page: http://pds-geosciences.wustl.edu/missions/mro/sharad.htm
