July 24, 20241 yr Does anyone know how to produce day and night surface temperature maps using THEMIS Projected Brightness Products (PBT) or any other THEMIS product? I want to monitor thermal inertia changes (seasonally ) for my region of interest, and for that, I need to know the diurnal temperature difference.
July 25, 20241 yr Hello @Sehaj 😇 The following procedures can be used to create surface temperature maps of the day and night using THEMIS Projected Brightness Products From the planetary data system get the THEMIS PBT products. PBT data should be processed and verified using programs. Make sure that; if required; you convert brightness temperatures to surface temperatures. With GIS software; collect relevant information from the PBT files to build day and night surface temperature maps. Examine maps taken during the day and at night to track variations in temperature and thermal resistance.
